Although the process works from the opposite end of the conceptual scale, the depth of analysis and testing is just the same where there is a need to revisit to existing assemblies.

This may be brought about through any justifiable reason from repetitive breakdown of the assembly line through to a need to create cost reduction through a rationlisation of parts and process.
