The screw was proven to successfully transfer all of the tensile loads and pressure forces onto the substructure ensuring that thin or delicate covering elements would not be compromised. The sealing at the top of the currugation was optimised by using a unique storm washer configuration. This design combination proved to guarantee the easy assembly and secure fixing of the solar and photovoltaic installations.
