Cosford Exhibition opens doors for Industrial Division

Glorious sunshine greeted nearly 300 visitors to the spring Fastener and Assembly Solutions exhibition at the RAF museum, Cosford on Wednsday April 29th.
The show has proved itself to be a very focused, low cost and easily managed event for exhibitors and visitors alike who also had the opportunity to take in 'Hanger One's' many examples of aviation engineering greatness; from the De Havilland Comet to the RAF's Armstrong Whitworth Argosy C1.
EJOT UK application engineer Malcolm Akers manned our stand alongside colleague Steve Wynn. He explained the company's theme for the day:
"Our slogan for the event was 'Cost Redcution Without Compromise' which encompasses very simply, a multi-faceted purchasing proposal."
"We were exhibiting from the Groups vast range of fastening solutions, found in countless metals and plastics assemblies worldwide and Steve and I were on hand to demonstrate the company's capability to engineer customer specific solutions for a multitude of applications, reducing system costs in the process."
"System costs include development, part-manufacturing, treatment, assembly, quality assurance and logistics etc. EJOT's engineers work with customers to arrive at solutions driven by precision or multi-functional fastening elements. The aim is to lower system costs through reduced frequency of inspection or interruption. A higher quality of fastening results in a better product for manufacturers."
Malcolm and Steve's expertise was not wasted and as a result, they have several prospects to make further contact with.
