EJOT® are recognised globally as brand leaders, manufacturing roofing fasteners for virtually all leading metal and cladding systems; from corrugated fasteners to rooflight installation to specially coated fasteners.
With over 25 years experience in UK market, backed by almost a century of German manufacturing pedigree, we understand the performance requirements of a roofing fastener and its environmental responsibilities.
Close working partnerships with all major roll formers has been key in the evolution of an unrivalled range of correctly specified fasteners, engineered from the highest grade of carbon and stainless steel, with an equally sophisticated portfolio of coatings and finishes for every application.
Quality steel fixings
Sustainability, legislation and directives are not automatically connected with fasteners, yet these issues drive the work of EJOT® UK and our Applitec Centre. It’s at the company’s testing laboratory that around 25% of EJOT’s products are developed for the industry’s major system manufacturers. More obvious products like corrugated fasteners and fasteners for rooflight installation are all subject to the same procedures. In a similar our fasteners suit all substrates; from fixing timber to steel.
It is a part of the Group’s ethos to explore niche areas within the sector and develop products that present real benefits both in terms of simplified installation and long term performance.
A typical example is our specially developed coated fasteners. Local authorities can face a ‘refurb or rebuild’ dilemma over local swimming pool facilities. Buildings that have seen better days present special concerns, not least the effect that a corrosive atmosphere can have on metal fixings, long term.
EJOT has developed a range self-tapping coated fasteners specifically for use in atmospheres with a known risk of high stress corrosion. Typical areas include leisure centres, tunnels, and environments that combine high humidity and high chloride concentrations.
The EJOT® fastener uses modified stainless steel 1.4529 to provide a significantly higher resistance to corrosion from chlorine, chloride & sulphur dioxide, and is endorsed by a 25 year warranty.
