EJOT® Expansion Joint Corner Profile
Specification
-
Applications
- Profile with glass fibre fabric for the formation of vertical building expansion joints on offset wall surfaces and inside corners in thermal insulation composite systems.
-
Properties
- Exact and clean plaster connection
- Can be used for joint widths of 20 - 30 mm
- Good plaster grip thanks to grooved surface
- One-sided overhang of the joint loop of 5cm
- Store in a cool and dry place
- Transport and storage lying down
- The joint behind the profile must be filled with soft insulating materials
Processing instructions:
- Depending on the application, create an aligned joint with clean edges while glueing the insulation panels. It is recommended to use a spacer
- In order to ensure sufficient movement absorption after installation, we recommend a joint width of approx. 25mm. Starting from the bottom, embed the profile over the entire surface in the previously applied reinforcing compound and align it so that it flows.
- The expansion joint profiles must be installed from bottom to top. The excess of the joint loop must always point upwards and will be overlapped by the following profile during further installation. This ensures optimal water flow.
- When carrying out the surface reinforcement, the glass fibre fabric must be overlapped up to the take-off edge of the expansion joint profile.
-
