The EJOT range of drop-in anchors, such as the LAL+ series, is a specialised designed internally threaded anchor used primarily for creating a secure, flush, and reusable fastening point in solid base materials like concrete (including cracked and non-cracked), hollow core slabs, and natural stone.

Design & Functionality
Drop-in anchors are displacement-controlled expansion anchors. This means their anchoring function is achieved by expanding an internal component within the pre-drilled hole. The process involves dropping the cylindrical, internally threaded anchor into the hole and then using a specific setting tool (a hand or power tool) to drive a cone or plug deeper inside the anchor body. This forced displacement causes the lower part of the anchor sleeve to expand and press firmly against the walls of the base material, creating a frictional lock.

Applications & Benefits
EJOT's drop-in anchors are favoured for a variety of applications where a robust, removable fixing is needed. They are often used as multiple fastener of non-supporting systems, including:
•    Suspension systems for ceilings.
•    Fixing pipelines and air ducts.
•    Securing cable racks and sprinkler systems.

A key advantage is that once the anchor is set, the internal thread allows for quick and repeated assembly and disassembly of the fixture using a standard metric bolt or threaded rod, making them highly flexible for maintenance and temporary fixings.
