Sales Manager for Construction Fasteners

Richard Bowhay MIoR
Richard, who lives in West Yorkshire, manages our team of regional sales engineers and is ultimately responsible for the UK building and construction division. He joined EJOT in June 1997, specialising in fastener systems for rainscreen and façade.

A Member of the Institute of Roofing, Richard progressed from his role as regional sales manager to national sales manager, joining EJOT UK’s senior management team in 2018.

Technical Business Development Manager

Brian Mack MIoR
Brian, who lives in West Yorkshire, joined EJOT in February 2003 and has over 40 years’ experience within the industry. Joining as a technical advisor, and later technical manager, he progressed to his current position in 2015.

Brian’s role focuses keenly on current legislation, best practice and compliance. In addition to being part of the MCRMA management team, he sits on technical committees with the NFRC, SPRA and INCA as well as a British Standards working group.

ETICS Product Manager

Mark Newell
Mark, who lives in Halifax, is our ETICS and EWI specialist in the UK. With over 20 years in the construction industry, his technical experience includes regional sales management for a UK based ETICS system manufacturer.

In addition to supporting UK based OEM’s, Mark’s role includes liaison between EJOT’s Group head office in Germany, in developing and supporting International ETICS manufacturers who have UK based operations.

LIEBIG Anchoring Consultant

Paul Papworth
Originally a mechanical engineer, Paul has specialised in civil engineering, tunnelling, rail transportation, and power – both nuclear and fossil. His 36 years in the industry include roles from sales and business development both in the UK and the 13 countries of the Asia sector.

Paul joined EJOT in May 2018 with a remit to grow market share of anchoring products via specification and direct sales. He now lives in the northeast of England near Hartlepool.

Site Technician

James Uttley
James joined EJOT in April 2017. In addition to a diverse and interesting CV, his family have strong ties with many areas of the construction industry. His role as service technician provides customers on-site technical support and testing – which could be anywhere in the UK.

James lives in York and is currently developing skills and knowledge within the LIEBIG anchoring range, working alongside the external sales team and our Applitec technicians.

Business Development Manager - New Market Sectors

Gary Robson
Based in Newcastle upon Tyne, Gary joined EJOT in March 2007. He has built extensive knowledge of roofing and cladding applications, further specialising in Rainscreen, Liebig and Anchoring products. Gary is also a CFA certified tester.

Gary was promoted to his current role in August 2023 with the remit to extend the company’s reach into new market sectors whilst strengthening EJOT’s relationships with major industry OEMs.

Business Development Manager - Flat Roofing Systems

Kevin Rackley
Based in Reading, Kevin joined EJOT in November 2003 as the company’s regional sales engineer for the South West. In April 2024 Kevin was promoted to become business development manager with special focus on supporting business relationships with customers and membrane manufacturers who specialise in flat roofing systems.

Kevin works closely with the EJOT Group product management team in Bad Laasphe, Germany and is supported by EJOT UK’s technical team at its Applitec Centre in Yorkshire.
