The Smart Alternative to Sheet Metal Clamping Nuts
The EASYboss® plastic nut was developed as a standardised alternative to traditional sheet metal clamping nuts and is ideal for use with thin-walled components where direct screw fastening is not possible due to design constraints. Used in combination with the EJOT EVO PT® screw, it creates a reliable, corrosion-free connection that can withstand dynamic loads. Tolerances are reliably compensated for, and assembly is simplified making it suitable for automation. The result is a mountable screw boss with fewer variants and reduced assembly costs, providing a durable, recyclable fastening solution.

How EJOT EASYboss® works
EASYboss® is assembled by snap fitting sideways to the edge of the part, or through an access hole in a flat component. Its design ensures that tolerances of the hole pattern can be reliably compensated by the fastening element. For varying material and hole wall thicknesses a range of different sizes and bespoke solutions are available.
