Technical specifications
- Rigid PVC profile with fiberglass mesh, 12.5 cm wide, alkali-resistant and shift-proof. The base profiles are equipped with predetermined breaking points and can therefore be shortened on site by bending: the SOP 180 can be shortened to 150 mm, 120 mm and 90 mm and the SOP 120mm can be shortened to 90 mm and 60 mm.
- The reinforcing compound should be applied approximately to the width of the mesh strip. The base profile is then inserted between the facade and base insulation panels, embedded in the wet reinforcing compound, and trowelled in. The base profiles are connected end-to-end using the included connector. The fiberglass mesh of the subsequent surface reinforcement must extend to the plaster edge to prevent cracking at the joint. We recommend the additional use of a compressed sealing tape between the base insulation and the base profile.
